Arden Hauer mediated for the first time in 1986, and soon after left adversarial law, because of its destructive and expensive nature, for full time mediation. She created the name Center for Non-Adversarial Divorce in 1990.
The Center began in Boulder. In 1991 she added an office in Englewood on Wednesdays and Fridays. Eventually she expanded to include locations in Northglenn, Cherry Creek, and Denver West. By 2000, ready to settle again in one location, Hauer chose her current office in beautiful Genesee, near Golden. “Mother Nature helps,” she said.
