You can use Friendly Divorce Mediation to help you come to agreement about property division, responsibility for debts, maintenance (alimony), your parenting plan (custody, visitation), and child support.
You can use it to decide whether your want to divorce, legally separate, or make a marital agreement that would allow your marriage to continue. In more than twenty years in divorce mediation, I've discovered that couples with marital difficulties tend to think they have only two options: counseling or divorce. There are many other options, and you can explore those in mediation.
You can use Friendly Divorce Mediation to change or modify child support or your parenting plan as needed after your divorce.
Mediation is the process of coming to agreement with the help of a third-arty neutral–the mediator. Arden Hauer mediates with divorcing couples who want to cooperate to reach agreement amicably, peacefully. Divorce agreements cover property and debt division, parental responsibilities (parenting time, decision making, custody, visitation), child support, and maintenance (alimony), as well as taxes, health insurance, and life insurance.
When you reach agreement, Arden puts it in writing, and you can then use it as your separation agreement in court.
Mediating your divorce in a friendly way gives you the opportunity to:
The timing is up to you. You can move as fast or as slowly as is appropriate for both of you. Most coordinate their mediation with the court's timing requirements. Some couples are already in general agreement, and just need to have it put in writing.
Contact us to schedule an appointment, or for a free 30-minute consultation to get acquainted and determine if you would like to mediate here.
Some people call me individually, and others schedule a time when both parties can be on the line, a conference call.
The Center for Non-Adversarial Divorce's hours are 9 am to 5 pm, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday; 1 - 5 pm on Wednesday.
We are located in beautiful Genesee (Golden), Colorado, and serve Denver and the Front Range, more distant locations by conference call.
